Panera...I love it!

I am so glad that I really don't live close to a Panera Bread. I have had six bagels in my freezer since Laurie and Ella left....but it is now done to three...I have one every morning! Max thinks he needs one also since he ate one of Laurie's...he tries to be quick and get one...but I must eat faster! They are addicting and really probably not good for you! I am not going there at all!

I just got this today in the mail...wanted to share it! She is awesome and will fit in to be a "Tommingo" girl!

Brrrrrr is it cold outside!

It is so cold you can see it in the air! Another almost 30 below zero night is forecast for tonight. This morning I had frozen hot water pipes in kitchen...remember those good old days! I won't even tell you want the wind chill is...wishing I was where you are! Don't know where to pile the snow anymore....heat wave for Saturday up to possibly 20 degrees....

Ella "3" months old on Wednesday!

What can I say "She is adorable!" She loves wearing her new "I love Mommy" bracelet...it makes noise when you hit it against things...she is almost holding her head up and scoots all over her crib!

The verdict is ... I need a new stove...I can't use it...I think that the melt job...wasn't the best thing for it. Are you surprised? Sale price $499.00 What a deal! It isn't fancy but I can cook frozen pizza's and bake cookies. I don't need the whistles and bells!

Happy Birthday "Ella"

Ella this was your big day....12 weeks old...and first day at Day Care. I am sure you were a little "Angel" and all of the staff loved you to pieces! Now be good for Mommy and Daddy tonight; they have to make some adjustments for going back to work. Mommy loves to be organized...being a baby is hard...to have everything happen like clock work! But hang in there Mommy and Daddy will adjust!

The Flu!

I spent the morning in the bathroom.....the afternoon on the sofa....did get some chicken soup down.....and now I am drinking fruit punch! I thought for a while this morning it was my appendix again....I was thinking I would have to call to go to the ER...but I stuck it out! I just laid on the bathroom floor and Max was worried! Too bad he can't use the phone! After sleeping through four movies off and on I think I am going to make it!
Thanks for the phone calls of concern! I don't wish this on anyone! Great way to start a new week!

Monday Update: Wasn't feeling any better today and went to the doctor....it is a very bad virus going around...and I was lucky to catch it. It really knocks you down! So I am on broth, pedialyte freezer pops, soda crackers and toast no butter! Need lots of sleep!

Another Great Birthday!

Everyone was so nice to me "again" it is great having birthday's as you get older! I feel very spoiled...I have a cosy warm "Leopard fleece throw" to cover up with...several bottles of wine (awesome)to sip on ...a great new book/cute book mark...to snuggle up on another Iowa Freezing cold evening! Also a cute little digital key chain that holds 120 photo's...it is already filled with Christmas family photos....it is adorable...I love it!
The phone calls were very special to me from you guys! The new "Coach Purse" and "Brighton" pill box...thank you so much...Sykpeing with Ella is the best! I really think she knows my voice and can see me! Love the cards from everyone!

I am not going to make any New Year's Resolutions....today.....I am only going to get thru my to do list.
1) Strip all the beds and finish laundry
2) Clean out the refrigerator - out with the leftovers
3) Thank you notes - all the great things I got!
4) Collect all of the cans and bottles to recyle - lots of Soda, Beet & Wine
5) Try to watch the Hawks!

Was going to try to get out to work...don't think I will make it!
