Next weekend "Gull Lake"

Sorority Friends are heading up to "Gull Lake" to Susan's cabin. It is going to be so much fun... Leaving Thursday afterwork and coming home Sunday Night! I hope to get some RELAXATION......LOT OF LAUGHS.....AND SOME SUN!
So it is really going to be a short week at work! So girls if you don't hear from me.....you know where I will be. I guess having the neighborhood watch thing going on....I feel good about leaving my house. "Everyone is watching"

Today was awesome.....eveyone's tickets are bought to come home in August!
I am so excited to see my girls!

Sad monday!

I am thinking positive the rest of the week will go so much better!
You know I believe that God gives you what you can handle...
I am thinking he has me mixed up with someone else!
Work is just not going wonderful!
Just not enough hours in the day!
It is just going to be another long week...

Lost...

Tonight I am so happy to have my DVR....now I am waiting for rainy, yucky day with nothing to do but .... watch....the 1st episode....the show that explains what is happening...and the last episode....all at once! I will have a "Lost" marathon...by myself!

Brooks and Dunn...

Tonight was a special for "Brooks and Dunn" I have loved these guys even when I didn't like country.
Kenny Chesney sang their song "You're going to miss me when I'm gone!" it was great! I think they will be missed by everyone!
The whole show was all of their Number 1 hits....by all country stars....it was awesome.

What are they going to think of next... I have wasted part of my morning play "PacMan" I really haven't ever played but I think it can be addicting...

I have never in my life voted for any "Dancing With The Stars Show".....but I was really close last night. I want to keep seeing this guy dance! This is the first season I have ever watched.....I guess it is the best one so far. I will be sad it is almost over.

My body hurts....update on Plants & Flowers

Painted the table from the basement.....and put Grandma Jean's kitty on it....what do you think?
Also added this plastic rug....to hide the cracked cement....water proof....just have to hose it off! It is green but looks Natural Clay like the house!
Yes planted the "Mandevilla" Vine....after some sunshine it will soon have gorgeous pink flowers...can't wait!
The two whiskey barrels look a little bit bare.....but a little "Miracle Grow" and they will be fine!

Saturday's shopping....Sunday's work!

Misty and I went to several "Mennonite" Greenhouses around Colwell, Elma and Alta Vista....all gravel roads :( . Little Tyler was so adorable we took turns holding him....he would talk, talk , talk to the people and sometimes to the flowers. He is a sweetie!

It was fun....they had beautiful plants and many had baked goods! I loved the children....they would carry the plants to your car...hoping for a tip! The first place...I was a little slow on the one (Misty had to fill me in)!

So later this morning.....I will be very busy planting....hopefully to post photos .....tonight!

Devin in Sweden!

Devin made it to Stockholm, Sweden! I wish him a good time and will keep him in my prayers for a safe time while he is there. I told him to post photos and travel on the weekends...what an awesome experience!
Europe is a great place to visit...I just hope he doesn't love it so much he stays....

I am the only one to love this rain!

It has been raining for two days....so when I came home during lunch....I was so excited to see the lawn guy....rolling my lawn. He had a tractor (didn't find a image of that) he said the rain was great and the lawn was ready! It was so bumpy....he went over the lawn 3-4 times. I can't wait until the sun shines and I can mow. How awesome to not almost twist my ankle while mowing! It is pouring outside right now....so I am ready for it to stop! Max won't even go out....he makes me go with him....so I guess he thinks if he has to be wet...I have to be! Darn dog!

Neighborhood Watch Meeting!

Tonight was my first Neighborhood watch meeting. I guess I should feel better....but.....now I found out what is really going on in the neighborhood! I haven't decided if it is good or bad! One guy wants to put up cameras.....other one wants to carry a "Tazer Stun Gun" of some kind! The apartment house on the corner now has one apartment with black garbage bags on their windows! All more than I wanted to know about.

So here it is Saturday morning and I have lots to do ..... and Max wants to sit on my lap! He cries and whines....I may have not been home very much this last week! He wants to watch TV......He makes me laugh! Well.... had better get busy and maybe put the other TV on and put him on the sofa! Need to find a western and Max will be happy.....

House on T-38

Oh my goodness I was on the T-38 blacktop two weeks ago Sunday and saw that our old house has been painted a dark dark green! I was shocked. I will take a picture next time; but I have driven by so many times and it looked the same as when we lived there! Not any more.....

He did it again!

Max ran away this morning. Pam (My neighbor) stopped over with her dog "Bailey" I let him out the front door because he was going crazy! He was fine hanging out with Bailey and then he took off! Darn dog crossed "Grand Avenue" two cars stopped or he would of been ran over. Pam and I running after him....he then crossed "Main Street" a car almost hit him. Two women (one from my neighborhood) in a van pulled over by the Congregational Church and he ran to them! They thought it was Max when he crossed main! Thank goodness so many people know him! So to make a long story short...he is in the dog house with me and Pam! No treats today! He is worn out and sleeping...
