Christmas Eve @ the Tommingo's

Alex and Elliot happy to be back in the U. S. They wanted you girls to know that is was the same stories....same laughs as last year!  It was great!

Grandma in her new glasses loves her gift from Ella and Zoey....the pictures were a great hit!

Crystal is so creative....these  are picture panels....and our dog's and cat's....Even the boys got one from Sabrina and ?????

I got some awesome gifts.....love them all!

 

 

One of the things I love in the fall.....

I just got back from the grocery store and of course I see a large display of Candy Corn and Peanuts.....I couldn't resist....I love it...but of course you have to buy the Brach's brand!

Getting ready for Halloween....

Ella wanted the spider and web put up while she was here....so it was up in the dining room.  Today I put it outside on the deck and put lights around the web!  The neighbors were over and thought it was a bat hanging in the web... got a laugh...but I am getting ready for Halloween!

I am sad that fall is here and I will be losing my backyard flowers....this year was a challenge because of the triple digits this summer and the large water bills.....I have added some solar lights and an awesome wind spinner that I could just watch spin in the wind.....

I am still sticking to my story........

New project....

This is the first row and I am so glad I took this picture.....I have two blocks upside down!  I thought I was being so careful!  I think it is going to be kind of cute!  Maybe someday one of my Grand-daughter's will want it!  ....and maybe they will be little Hawkeye's!
I have several projects on my plate at this time...but this one is fun!

Clear Lake Weekend with Kevin Costner! Unplanned but so much fun!

Just want you to know these are not cropped or edited.

We were at the Landing for a late dinner and watch the sunset.  Heard that tickets were still available for Kevin Costner @ the Surf!  So no dinner and headed to the surf!

He came into the Surf from the back and walked thru the crowd!

He had a big screen that showed film clips of all of his movies....the crowd loved it!

He was so nice and so mid-west! He say about an Iowan Soldier! and about Leland where he had a concert in 2009!

His daughter Lily sang a couple of songs.

Finally got a little bit closer...it was great!

The next morning off to shop after a very short boat ride.  He a little engine trouble with lots of smoke and worried about a fire...

Ended the afternoon at P.M. Park for a Diet Coke!  What a great short weekend.

Busy Friday....

We had a quiet morning with a long bath!  Ella has decided to tell mommy she likes

baths in the morning it is so much better then at night.  Sorry for that one.

We had a little shopping trip for Yellow Socks.  I could only find one sock and her outfit

needed yellow socks.  Because she wanted to look very nice when she is with Nana!

Old Navy made Ella's day; she found Alvin; and he was  special part of her day. 

He was treated like a king!  She told him about California and the hospital

and she would introduce him to all her other Barney's!

Alvin had to have a front row seat!

Oh....Nana....thank you so much for my new barney "Alvin"....he is going to sleep with

 me all of the time and I really need him. Hearing that made my whole day!

Alvin was a hit she won tickets....he made her lucky charm!

She did awesome by herself in the car....she may be driving by age 5!

She made her boat go the highest and was very proud of it.

Ella was getting a little bit tired by this time of the afternoon but didn't want to stop!

Her favorite prize....her candy bracelet!  She wanted to take her picture when she sees

two Nana's ...It was so funny but I couldn't post a crazy picture like that!

Ella has to show her prizes from the 45 tickets she won...candy bracelet, orange fish and

2 tootsie rolls and a slushy....not bad deal for 2 1/2 hours of entertainment.

The best for last her favorite restaurant "The Grape Restaurant" 

 she is on cloud 9, Alvin and Mommy's Ipad and ordered noodles and sauce!

What a great way to end an awesome day!  the wait staff loved her and she was very polite to them.
